Save the date!!

We are happy to announce that on Thursday July 11th at 7:30 pm we are hosting the release of Beatrice Signorello first photo book "Regina". The Launch Event is at our bookstore o*books at Bruno-Marek-Allee 24/1. There will be music and drinks so bring your friends and spread the word ;) The opening of the related exhibtion of the project is just a couple of blooks from here at Am Tabor 29.

“Regina” is a photo project that Beatrice Signorello has been working on for the last year, focusing on the life of one of the last Hausmeisterinnen of the viennese Gemeindebauten, who now became a very close person to the artist. The project was born as a collaboration of her class at Angewandte and AK Wien, aiming to research the macro topic of “housing/living”, exploring themes like social housing, “leerstand”, real estate speculation and exploding living costs. Both the exhibition and the book presentation are part of the city exhibition “Wie wir (nicht) leben” (Here is the link: https://wiewirnichtleben.at)

The Photos wiill be displayed from the 26th of June until the 2nd of September. The book "Regina" can be found in o*books from July on…Have a look at the entire program of the AK- city exhibition, where Beatrice´colleagues are also showing their amazing works on the same subject.
